Sweet Nothing

Cowards:

Are we truly this big of cowards?

You, consistently telling me “I don’t know”

While nuzzling contrasting emotions and situations that will never equal peace,

So how do you expect to find it?…to find love and peace?

Me, refusing to let go because I believe,

I believe in what he possess and what we share,

I believe in you and what you told me.

Why won’t you let me go, why won’t I let you go?

What is wrong with us?

We desire to live, but we refuse to do so….

We can’t imagine ourselves without the other

Or that is what I want to believe.

But when does this happening turn into liberation?

When do we free ourselves from all these restraints, expectations and “what if’s”

And just live…Not for one another but for LIFE?

Life is supposed to be ours, don’t we desire happiness?

THEN WHY DO WE REJECT IT!!!?

DAMNIT!!

I guess we aren’t anything but cowards;

You in your “I don’t know’s”

And me in stupidity.

I guess I wither in acceptance and silence for I can’t control you

But I refuse to let go.
