As I lay in bed and wait for sleep

I close my eyes and dream new dreams

Of verdant fields 

And white streaked skies

Of strawberry kisses

And pistachio sighs

Of your hand in mine

And your lips divine

Of how much I love you

And wish you were truly mine.
