Looking Through the Glass Door

Never the sound, I will ever hear again...

Struck down by a driver on the street at the town's end...

Leaning on the glass door smudged with your face as your heartbeat races...

Clouded with your breath ...

Waiting for dear brother to return...

As parent's return, not a sound from their lips...

Only tears tell the story of this day, brother has gone far far away...

Eyes fixated through the glass, never to be stepped through by the one who shall never arrive last...

Gone far far away, through the glass door...

Am I Loved

Far from the one I want to be beside, is where I must hide...

Cold chilling cuts across my thighs put their by the one who once said he loved me at night...

I tremble now as he raises his hand, the penetrating chill I feel as I stand near near this man, my father...

I fear my life should end, because of the poison that set itself inside him...

Only one way, as I watch him tumble down the state's...

My arms still up in the air...

The officers came to take me away, only to be trapped in another way...
