"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet" (William Shakespeare).

What even is a name? Is it words we think sound good, or is it a strange combination of different letters in different codes to create a name? What if we called a dog a cat and a cat a dog? Would that change how we view it? Did you know that one of the reasons people change their names is because they feel others would view them better than before? Or perhaps they might feels as if it is for the betterment of society? Or maybe, is it because they wish to be different from everyone else? Here's a scenario: John is a sweet man from a small-town neighborhood. He's a good guy, but he has an alias. Why? Because in his past, he used to be a psycopathic maniac who killed people for laughs and for good money. However, because he changed his name and was able to get away, he was able to start over. Is this a reason people change their names? They feel as if it gives them a second chance? Perhaps those of you out there who have done this are correct. Perhaps you have been given your second chance. All I can say is you best live it to the fullest before those chances run out. Those of you who know who I am, you know I'll never change. I might change on the outside, but on the inside, I am still, and will remain, a bloodthirsty soldier, fighting to be set free. ~Fin~
