Have you ever apologized to yourself for trying so desperately to fix others when your own hands are shaking?
Have you ever apologized to yourself for not giving yourself enough time to heal, that you try to seal the wounds of others whilst your own were still bleeding?
Have you ever apologized to yourself for giving all your time and effort to people that you had neglected yourself in the process?
Have you ever apologized to yourself for the nights when you cried yourself to sleep and had no one who bothered or cared enough to realize that you are also human with feelings and emotions?
And have you ever apologized to yourself for failing to love yourself the way you deserve to be loved?
If you haven't, it's time you pay attention. You may think that others need you, but you need yourself more. You may think you're doing a noble and selfless service for others by being their champion all the time, but when you're neglecting yourself, you are doing a disservice onto yourself and that is being selfish.
