Can you love me? Can you hold me tight? Are you being honest right now? Say it again but this time look me in my eyes. 

Can you love me? Tell me the truth. Can you take me as I am? Am I good enough for you?

Can you love me on the outside and in? Can you be my safe place, my home, my lover, a friend?

Can you love me? Would you ever hurt me? Do you intend to cause me pain, physically, mentally or emotionally?

Can you love me? Do you think I'm beautiful? Do you gaze upon me like I'm the moon and stars from my head to my toes?

Can you love me? Every inch of my body? Would you ask me to change anything about myself or can you accept me for the way God intended for me to be?

Can you love me? Can we have long and meaningful conversations? Can we take walks with unplanned destinations & lay on a rooftop looking at the sky, admiring constellations?

Can you love me? Can I trust you? Are you here to stay or are you just passing through?

Can you love me? Can you make me smile? Can you make me laugh? Can you just sit here with me for a while?

Can you love me? I mean REALLY love me? Can our love be one that's unlike any other? Can it be real? Can it be amazing?

Can you love me just as much as I'd love you? If I'm always there for you, can you always be here for me too? 

Can you love me? Can you let me in? Can you open up your heart to me or in the words of Joseph Angel and Rihanna, would you just play me like a violin?

Can you love me? Be honest if you can't. Because even if you can't love me, I know I sure can.
