It feels like a lifetime ago
That I lost someone
Near and dear to my heart. 
The storm clouds and rain
That once covered the horizon
Have discentagrated....moved on.
I cherish all that you have taught me,
All the support that you gave me,
And all the faith 
And trust you had in me.
High upon a mountain top
The eagle now takes flight. 
Trust that I will carry you with me
Ad I leave my nest.... My home.
God will always be watching over me.
He will carry me through
Until the next day.
