Second Chance

You died from the same pill
That before, you consulted as your therapist
It that moment, I'm sure it was hard to feel
The misfortune lingering in a sense of happiness.
Back then, we did not know
What the world truly had in store.
We believed that we were Invincible
And now you are no longer more.
I don't blame you for trying to find joy in abuse.
We would always talk about dying as if it was romance.
And I courted The Reaper in alcohol use.
I just wish you were given a second chance
