My road of life is has not been straight It’s been zig zag
Many parts filled with happiness  
Others dotted with the potholes of
tragedies accidents sickness 
Some were easy to negotiate 
Others were a heart wrenching challenge 
A few were unrepairable requiring 
skill and support to circumvent 
My road is not unique 
Others may define it differently 
But all  of us on this highway of life
Have or will at sometime encounter 
Similar experiences 
This is the nature of life on earth
It is my hope that  all people find 
happiness health and fulfillment 
As they travel their road of destiny
