I started out living life
A little harder than I'd planned
Adopted at the age of three
By the best parents I'd ever had
Anger problems, low self esteem
Have been a struggle all my life
Moved from home at eighteen
With a girl who I loved like a wife
Nine months later I was a dad
To a beautiful, baby girl
Another six days and they left
Ripping a gaping hole in my world
After this I went somewhere else
The problems still followed me
I became a crystal addict and
Walked the lonely streets of Need
But the things I learned back then
Made me more than most believe
The worst part is, it's a true story
