I wander as lonely as the moon
Yet I have as much company as the stars
I can be as bright as the sun
But only for limited hours
My thoughts smother my mind like clouds
Yet I feel as empty as the sky in spring
I can be as gloomy as a rainy day
Yet happiness is what I have to bring
My life flows like a river
Yet is as stagnant as a pond or lake
Feeling as dull as the brown on a mountain
No matter what chances I would take
What is it that is wrong with me?
Am I winter, summer, autumn or spring?
I would like to know but all I do know
Is happiness is what I have to bring...
