*Death greeted me at birth 

And she  smiled at me as a child. 

She held me close when I was left alone, for she knew I had no home. 

The smell of damp, and decaying corpses' was the sweetest perfume to be known. 

While the ghouls danced among the shadows. 

Oh, the way death protected me. 

When the screams grew louder and the pain got stronger,

For it was her, who saved me.*
