The rain feels so amazing 
It crawls across my skin
It’s cold out here but feels so good
I want to let the darkness win
Dripping down my shoulders now
It won’t permeate my skin
It feels just like a winter plow 
Pushing away all of the sin 
Time to let the light come back 
As I close my eyes 
Accept all of the lessons taught
Regardless of what others shall surmise 
Sleep now my child 
The world will spin on as you rest
Although the day was wild
Regard this only as a test 
The mornings sun shall awaken you
The sun will rise and glow
A new day dawns and in its flourish
You will learn all there is you need to know
