The Time Of The Republican For 8 years we have sat under the policies of the Democratic party at it's worst.... What do i mean ? Well... look at what's going on amongst the Democratic party now that they have lost control from the President position all the way down to the voters. They have null and voided the 1st amendment, they shut down free speech at any chance they can get. Any Conservative voice that comes to show up on college campuses is greeted with leftists in ninja suits throwing Molotov cocktails at them and breaking windows. Obama's policies are those which embrace extreme left wing ideology... Progressivism, Socialism, or hmm.... Communism and Marxism... oh no I didn't say that did I? Yes... I did and it's true. Government control of anything usually always ends up in a disaster. When you turn into the book of Samuel in the Bible you see the Israelis begging God for a king to rule over them so they can " be like the other nations " God grants them there wish but sharply rebukes and warns them of the folly of what they were asking. God intended judges to govern over them and them to seek the Lord as there finally authority. Why do I mention this ? Because we see here God didnt intend one supreme ruler or power to be condensed into the hands of a few because that almost always ends in disaster. You see it throughout Israeli history from that point on, the Israelis have good kings and bad kings... unfortunately mostly bad... The Lord wanted his people to be free and to follow God's laws. There's good news though.... the democrats have lost over 1000 elections on the local, state, and federal level since the implementation of Obama care. They are losing power every where. The republicans control all 3 branches of Federal government and have obtained a huge margin of Republican Governorships nation wide. They have a shot to really implement some good freedom based constitutional policies right now... Hopefully they don't blow it. Expand your knowledge and horizon. Turn off cable news watch CRTV, Infowars, The Daily Wire... there's plenty of voices of truth outside the mainstream. It's a great time in our history. Pray for our president.... remain positive and optimistic. Don't let the voices of doom and negativity cancel out your hope even if what they say be true... God can reverse and change anything ... more so when his people remain faithful and pray. God be with you

While I disagree with your take on the state of our nation, you have presented a logical, well thought out statement of your beliefs. I appreciate the fact that you do not resort to name calling (snowflake and libturds are a few of my personal favorites). I agree with you about not letting differing voices be heard, especially on college campuses where our youth should be exposed to differing viewpoints. While I concede the point that many congressional seats have been lost by democrats, one cannot ignore Gerrymandering or the fact that more votes were cast for democrats as a total in house races and the majority of voters did not vote for this president. There are innumerable flaws and problems on both sides of the aisle. I hope that we can come together as a country and say enough. Thoughtful, respectful discussion is the first step in this.

Freedom of speech is one of our most important freedoms. Any decision to restrict it must be scrutinized under the toughest standards. Colleges should be incubators of free thought and discussion. Your argument says Democrats voided the 1st Admendment and that they shut down free speech. Where did you hear that? Infowars? Those trying to restrict free speach, the Ninjas that you refer to, are anarchists, not Democrats.
