Someday, I hope you see
That you never stopped
Meaning everything to me
That even when my heart breaks
And the sobs give me shakes
The love I feel
Won't become felt
Because for me it's as real
As the pain that you dealt
When silently you began
To slowly slip away
While I try to be the man
That convinces you to stay
But I fear it's too late
I let you go too long
Now I cry and await
The words to come along 

That you no longer
Want me
That you no longer 
Care
That you no longer
Need me
And I wonder,
How is that fair?

I'll let you leave
When that time comes
But you best believe
If the world becomes
Too much to bear
To me you can run
