Father of lights, keep me safe tonight,
Father of lights be above my head at night.
Father of spirits lay me down in peace.
Spirit I know, hold me in your arms.
Sweet Spirit of life, keep me breathing tonight.
O' precious Spirit I know, 
Spirit be my guide tonight.
Let me sleep in perfect peace, let me sleep with perfect ease.
Dear Father of lights, keep your power here.
Mysterious power I fear;
Unbelievable power I know, though I feel you close, even when you're far away. 
Though you never leave, even when I'm all alone.
O Spirit of spirits, O' Ghost of lights.
You keep me safe, with perfect joy.
O' how is it so, I can't believe?
How wonderful you are, O' power of lights. 
King of sheep, lay me down to sleep.
King of dreams, you speak within my sleep.
King so true, Spirit of life.
King so sweet, roses like you; keep my days a perfect scent.
Keep my days a beautiful sight.
Though it rains, and though it pours.
On my head, my gloomy days.
Though it rains, though it pours.
When I sink, when times get rough;
You'll be there, to pull me up.
When I'm hurt, down to the dust.
When it just don't go my way.
Though you slay me, I will trust.
Though you slay me, I can't complain.
O Heavenly Father of lights, be the bright unto my days. 
O Wonderous Spirit of life, lay me down to sleep tonight ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💗
