(The final version I gave her)


Like the soothing presence that forever lies in the morning dawn,
She rises with her never ending ambition,
Attracting anything and anyone around
To swim the ocean waves of her eyes
With a desire for coition. 


But don’t be a fool believing her to be a simple Capricorn;
for you must be honest and loyal; else she will leave you beaten, broken and torn. 



Struck with luck I was, on that day she arrived in the third grade;
a reason to smile she gave me with the bond we had made.


The world was truly blessed when she was given to us;
a model full of beauty, compassion, honesty and trust. 


I am always in envy of the light she shines,
And from forever being my friend that light she shared has become mine. 


It’s her light of love I carry with me 
as a reminder of the woman she came to be. 


Her love just doesn’t quit as she lives the words of the wise stating that “life is a garden,” 
And she truly digs it. 


So I happy Birthday to the best reason I’m still alive today 
No words can describe how much I appreciate what she’s  done for me
I will forever love, cherish, and be there for my wonderful, sweet, and dearest friend… Carly.
