DRUNK IN LONDON TOWN Read Count : 54

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A

My mates and I went to London drinking and boozing

Getting back to the accommodation proved difficult and confusing

Imagine the scene when you're drunk and colour blind

All lines on the underground make finding anywhere impossible to find

We all decided to get off first at Leicester Square

Looking around for thirty minutes our accommodation wasn't there

One of my mates then suggested Kings Cross

We knew it wasn't there so we argued the toss

I don't know how but we ended up in West Ruislip

My eyes were tired and I needed to kip

It was there when an idea entered my head

I suggested we all catch the last train home instead
