As I lay in bed not being able to go back to sleep, I start thinking. Why is it hard for us humans to understand God? His true nature and the reason for us. Therefore, I started having a conversation in my head with someone I hold dear in my heart.

Voice: Why do you love me?

Me: Why not? You are beautiful. Even in your imperfections, your flaws, your background, you are beautiful. That's why I love you but not with the love that we humans give. For that love is corrupted. It is unkind. It is selfish. It is hurtful. It is the love that most of us end up learning from and teaching to one another. No, not that kind of love. The love I love you with is pure, clean, innocent, abundant, compassionate, forgiving, caring, gentle, free, everlasting... It is infinite. And although you don't want to hear it but it's the truth, that love is of God. Our creator. Our heavenly Father. We just have a very bad misconception of him.

Voice: But if he is so "loving" and "forgiving" and all those other things you said, why has he allowed all these injustices, these calamaties, this corruption, this chaos in this world? Tell me this, if this God is so powerful then why doesn't he stop all this. Stop us from making it worse.

Me: Free will. You may not think so but yes. He has allowed us the power to be able to make our own choices. Just like he has allowed us the power to create, to access universal knowledge, and to rule and govern over this earth.

Voice: Well if we have "free will" then why do we keep getting these indoctrinations; whether it be political, religious, or some other type of belief system; shoved into our brains? Is it not solely to have control over humanity?

Me: It may seem that way but these indoctrinations were made to set some structures in our lives to help us be one with society. To be one with God. To be one with our mind, soul, and body. Unfortunately, humanity tends to corrupt anything and everything intended for the good of the people. They have managed to twist and pervert the purity within the truth. The purity within his love. They have used it for their own selfish gains. That's why so many of us doubt the truth. So many of us fear it because of how it has been portrayed.

Voice: Ok? Then tell me, oh wise one, what is the truth?

Me: Well, my dear one, the truth is that the truth lies within each one of us. God is engraved in us all because we were created in his image. Whether we believe or not. Whether we accept it or not. We have a bond with God. The only way to really find the truth about this is to search within ourselves. To allow ourselves to be disected. To be analyzed inside and out. To be put under a microscope so we can see every little part that makes us humans. This will show us the conclusion of the truth. The truth of the matter is that we don't deserve God's love. We don't deserve to know him. We don't even deserve to exist. It's like that phrase that is used all the time, "You can't handle the truth!". Deep down we know this but yet refuse to acknowledge it because we don't want to deal with the harsh reality of our unstable condition. We refuse to look in the mirror of our soul. Still God is faithful. God still loves us even if we refuse to listen his voice that keeps calling at us. He is still being patient with us. Unfortunately, there will come a day when his patience will run out and his mercy will not be. We as individuals need to search for his truth now before it's too late. Before all is lost...
