What a year it has been
Oh the year of 2018
Full of light but darkness too
A lot of things happened this year, quite a few
It's hard to believe December is dying
Oh it seems as though I'm lying
Now it's time to say farewell to the year we've seen
Oh the complex year of 2018
We all know that it was never to last
Yet, why did it have to go so fast?
The year is dying, but living in my mind
Oh this year was one of a kind
Full of darkness and lights
365 unforgettable days and nights
Oh what a year it's been
