Open your eyes,
Just a simple girl, from what you see
But is she as simple as she seems?

She seems so normal, not much different
But you don’t know what runs through her mind
Because you are plain and simply blind,

Can’t you tell she’s trying not to cry?
That sometimes she feels she should die?
That perhaps she isn’t so simple?
That maybe she’s full of dreadful regrets,

She preys and opens her eyes, why, why, why?
She yells to the world
Why do I do this to myself
Why can’t I just fade away slowly

So go on….. open your eyes,
Before it’s too late and she dies
