DeathWhat is itWe do so many things to avoid the thought But it comes right back to our mindsWhy do we have this thingThat we can’t wrap our heads aroundWe don’t let anyone see us breakdown Because if they see we are weakWe know they will judgeJudged on something so sensitiveThat we become insensitiveTo everythingWe cry about deathBut then we put on a facadeCause if we don’t we'll be classified as odd We wish they were aliveSo we could be happyAnd everything could be dandyBut they’re not so we will live on without them We are overwhelmedSo we try to excel at somethingAll in the meantimeWe hid what’s insideSo we can be like everyone elseAnd not stand outWe worry about people having doubts Wishing we were normalQuarreling about our thoughtsSecretly thinking about our lossBut at what costShould we put our feelings behindHaving everyone think we don’t mind Wanting to click rewindTo see them againAnd not say farewellWe can’t comprehendWhy they had had to endAnd leave us here without themWe try to erase the pastThinking we’re trashYet we crash into our feelingsSo we try to stop the bleedingBut our feelings are creepingTheir way into our mindThese are the thoughtsI live with everydayHoping I don’t strayAway from realityAnd become a robotWith no real thoughts
