Looking out of the train window, a glass so thin you can see every scratch, every smudge and every fingerprint from all kinds of people. We stop at Westcliff , I notice the first set of houses they are modern, huge and smart. I glare to the view of my left and I see the sea a navy colour it was with a couple stranded sailors boats on it floating about with no care. What a comparison the left vs right, at one glance you see beauty and at another you see swamp, it just shows that nothing is symmetrical at all and everything has its ugly side. So why do we dwell on appearance so much, trying to always look perfect when we all know that’s impossible.. or is it ? You can only see what you want to see, it’s all in the eyes of the beholder if you want to see the big pretty houses then always look at the big pretty houses; if you choose to see a stranded swamp you will always see a stranded swamp. You make your own story on what you want . So tell me reader what do you see ?
