Hello Writer's Outlet community.
There are many places to write but most of the places where I see people write are apps or web sites that are not actually meant for writing like Writer's Outlet.
I understand the thought process, there are a lot of people on these apps and sites but at the same time, if most people are there for other reasons then the chances of getting them to actually read and interact on a meaningful level are slim to none.
I am not by any means suggesting that you not share your writing on as many apps and sites as possible, quite the oppostite. I am asking that you consider using Writer's Outlet as your first option because in addition to being an app by writers for writers it also allows you to share your writing or even your whole profile to any other app or site you have an account on.
I get a lot of requests to read or links or tagged on non Writer's Outlet posts. This app is very important to me from a personal and professional standpoint. I am happy to like or retweet or share anything you write but it must be either from this app or at least on this app. Please also use the hashtags WritersOutlet and writersofwritersoutlet and tag the app.
One other thing. There is only one official Writer's Outlet account on Twitter, Linked in, Instagram and Facebook and only one me on Writer's Outlet. If anyone tries to claim that they are me or affiliated with the app, they aren't. There was a former writer here that was and may still be impersonating me. Again, if the message or comment isn't from this account then it is not me.
This app is moving in an amazing direction as we move forward in 2020. Our membership and daily interactions are way up. Thank you everyone.
