How could I be happy
With the things that surround me
Unless I walk around blindly
Ignoring all the things that I see
Hunger pains and poverty
These kids are out here starving we
Gotta get them off these streets
And show them all that they can be
It starts with the community
Unite together, build a team
It’s not about you and me
It’s about these kids reality
Tell them that it’s safe to dream
That love is real, show them peace
Make sure they have self esteem
And teach them what life really means
