I remember stories my maternal great grandma told of riding in a covered wagon.
I remember.
I remember watching my paternal granma grow garden vegetables, raise animals for meat, eggs and dairy products. I remember watching her can and cook food from scratch. I remember watching her cistern fill with rain water and her clothes drying on the line.
I remember hearing that trains were more common than cars and planes.
I remember learning that forests and all of nature where more common than cities and people.
I remember when kindness, generosity and modesty were more prevelant and respected than money, fame and sex.
I remember.
Do you?
