I've always pondered on the thought of will I ever put my thoughts into words? Do people want to hear your thoughts or are you just wasting your time?
The world of writing has taught me how to breathe again, all those years previous I was drowning under water with unspoken secret thoughts and writing has helped me to break through the surface of the water...I can breathe.
As writers, we worry and dwell on the thought that people will hate what we write, criticism tears our ideas apart until we hit a major dead end, thoughts cease to exist. As a writer myself, we need to learn how to deal with criticism and pour it into our work to raise it to a higher standard. Our work is never perfect, we are always finding room for improvement and that's okay.
The world of writing can fire all the criticism it wants at me, it won't make me crack, my writing won't suffer! So, does the world of authors and writers have room for one more?

Fear can be crippling. Fear of the unknown can trigger paranoia. Fact is, you will never know how your writing is going to be received unless you give it a shot. Not everyone is going to like what you write and that's another fact but that doesn't mean that no one will like it. There is and always will be plenty of room for a writer in this world. Keep writing, keep sharing your thoughts, and let your voice be heard. 💜
