I finally let you go

After all the back and forth

Like the opening and closing of a door

I finally closed the door on you

But here you are trying to open the wounds I tried so hard to see close

You keep trying to tear apart my stitches

Even though you were the one who made it clear you didn't want me

Me a good woman

Me who held you down

Me who was there when no one else was

But you rather have someone who treats you like you treated me

Like nothing

I am not your trash

You don't get to make me feel less than a queen

If you can't treat me right

Then stay the fuck out my life

If there are warning signs in a relationship Chances are they’re not going away Sometimes we hang on hoping it will change-it seldom does for the better A lesson learned for the future Good job putting it to him and a great Strong powerful peice of writing
