As I sit here thinking of you,
I must try to start a new.
Your bright blue eyes that haunt my dreams,
Bring my brown ones to burning gleams.
For you a new love you have found,
Plummeted my heart to the ground.
This time, my old love I will not stand to the side,
To wait for you to finally decide.
My arms and heart are closed to you now,
For I take a final bow.
My part has been played as much as I dared,
That you had still even cared.
The sun shines bright for me somehow,
Because I now live for the here and now.
