My eyes blinked several times to adjust this sudden brightness. Once my sight recover, I looked around my surrounding in utter confusion and surprise.
The night sky where the full moon is shining with kindness has been replaced with cloudless azure sky where the sun is radiating with unforgiving heat. Sand is everywhere, all dried up and nothing can grow here. It is not because fire energy is abundant. It is caused by the lack of life energy. While it is bothering me there is another thing that I have to focus on primary things first.
"How did I get here?" I remember falling down into the empty void. I was ready to committee suicide by disappearing in empty void along with the Grimoire of Harmony and Chaos. Then, the said book unleashed its' power and protected me. Within a flash, I am I somehow got transported here. The only reasonable explanation I can think of is the book had transported me into another place. I don't know where but right now, I have escaped with my life intact, even better with the fact the grimoire is here safe and sound.
However, I am not out of danger yet. Because I have landed in worst possible location when the sun is roasting me, literally. Moreover, my magic reserve is nearly empty. Cast one more magic and I will drop down helplessly at mercy of unknown. I cannot restore the reserve by collecting mana from surrounding and my surrounding is devoid of mana. Which mean my only option here is regeneration through sleep, while being cooked and at mercy of unknown.It is a grim situation but I have come too far to stop now. All I have is try to survive in a way I can.
Once everything got sorted, my eyes soon laid on the grimoire. I raised it high above me and ask "are you the one who said that?"
Naturally, there is no respond. The grimoire is still and silence. Never the less, whoever said those words, while flattering, they exaggerating it.
Few while after, I decided to stand up and begin searching a good place to find.
