Pet Quirks Read Count : 33

On some days, it seems like when you own a pet all hell breaks loose. This evening, when I sat down to relax my youngest adopted cat chased my older adopted cat onto my stereo where my remote was for my DVD. He knocked my remote somewhere, where I couldn't find it. I was angry, obviously because I hate whenever things like this happen. I often try to contain my temper, because cats are cats and they don't know any better most of the time. I searched for that remote high and low, but I couldn't find it. I decided to take a break and play a game for a while. Later on, after I turned the game off, I noticed something black sticking out of my bag of chips. It was the remote, which I desperately been searching around on the floor. The stereo is about 4 feet from where the bag of chips was. I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdness of the chances of it going into the bag. Sometimes it's sad when we have to search for something, and then realize it's right under our nose. This was an accident, but I can't help recalling a quirk of Gideon's, after I adopted him. The first week we brought him home, he used to steal full loaves of bread right off the counter. I used to be amused by. Now he's gotten into taking other things, like dollar bills I leave laying around.
