Without a Name

Some where I had a life,
I was a mother, sister a loving Wife.
Someone decided to take my life.
My name remains unknown, no name to call mine.

Taken, snuffed out without a chance.
Snatched from life's race,
breath taken from my soul without a glance.
My soul left to wander lost, hidden from God's grace.

Known only as Jane,
Left with no person to blame.
A wondering soul taken with so much pain.
I'll never be given the chance to live again.

Forever to lay under this stone …
Chiseled carefully with a simple name,

Doe, Jane....

Some where I had a life,
I was a mother, a sister a loving wife....

Now I'm Jane...
