Chapter four

Ezri stood on the patio in her big wedding dress, the maid fixing worn parts.
When she was done Ezri went to the stables to say goodbye to Buckle.
As soon as she couldn't see anyone else she burst into tears.
Buckle came over to her and knelt on the ground next to her.
Even he was sad.
She pet him, feed him and then got ready to take him to the farm which would be his new home.
She hopped on him back and they rode away.
When they got to the gate of the farm.
She told Buckle to turn around.
So he did. And just as the farmer opened his door they ran away.
The farmer opened his gate and started running after them holding his pitchfork!
"Go Buckle go!" Ezri screamed.
Buckle ran into the forest as fast as he could.
Hours and hours they ran through the forest.
Until they couldn't hear the farmer's yells.
Ezri looked around.
She didn't know this part of the forest.
They were lost.
Which meant they would be late for the wedding, and her father would send a search party after her.
Her white dress was now grass and mud stained.
Stains the maid would never be able to get out.
Which meant she would need a new dress.
Ezri was smiling. At least she had her best friend with her.
And that made her happy.
She hopped off Buckle and walked with him.
As she was walking she tripped over the edge of her dress.
So she grabbed the end of it, and ripped the end off until it only went down to her knees.
Her feet were aching in those shoes too so she took them off.
When she was done she buried the items in the ground, so that nobody could trace her.
