Fear,
Is a horrible thing.
Easy to get,
Hard to get rid of.
Once it crawls inside you,
It takes lead.
Steers you down the wrong road,
Makes you someone you're not.
It creates distrust,
Drives people apart.
Makes you alone,
Separated from everything.
But it also makes something good...
An understanding.
Something others have felt.
Creates a deal for survival.
Who knows,
Maybe if harvested properly,
You can take your fear,
And make something beautiful...
