I agree with Jared on this. In the past, there were writers who flatly refused to share the works of others but want others to share their work and i feel that is not a good attitude to have. For those of us who are serious writers, who take our writing seriously, we value support from other writers because we are all on the same boat. If we are all united and support each other we can definitely keep this boat afloat. Helping to promote someone else's work is not going to take anything away from you instead it will show that you are a team player.
