It is very troubling that Mitch McConnell, R-KY and Majority Leader is leading a secretive Republicans only committee to craft the Senate's healthcare plan, without any public hearings,  testimony or review by industry experts.

He plans to bring the resulting healthcare plan to the floor for a vote, ensured of passage if the Republican majority holds.

Why is he doing it this way? Why is he afraid of the public knowing its details in advance of the vote?

Mitch is developing and will forever be responsible for this new undemocratic bill passage process. Once the Democrats regain the majority and attempt to replicate his process, watch out for the infamous McConnell crocodile tears to flow like water.
