Moments calm and air tranquil
Loiters the lonely soul;
Like rainbow bands comes alive
Memories sweet and foul.

Mind's landscape ever retains
Colours faded yet bright;
A magic mirror that reflects
Lost events both dark and light.


Wandering soul mourns over
Lost time and chances missed;
Wisdom precious dawns on it
So long shadows have kissed.

Lonely moments also prepare
One for his final end;
The soul transcends all barriers
To meet its dearest friend.
