Just A Thought Read Count : 2

Ok, so I literally just finished the last book in the Awake in the Dark series and I don't know what to say...

It was so powerful in a way that I can't describe. Jeff Grobnagger, the main character, he so relatable, in so many ways. And yeah you can say that about so many characters, but out of all the books I've read Jeff seems the most human to me, the most real...

Yes, the book has its weird points, it's cerebral fantasy, but the underlining point it makes when you finish the last book, the one thing that ties the series together. I can't describe it. The emotions Jeff lives through and suffers through every day, the thoughts he has the conversations and whatnot, that's where the real story is. Everything between the plotline...

I guess what I'm really trying to say is that I think the Awake in the Dark series is my favorite of everything I've read thus far. And I believe it's one of those series that can touch anyone and everyone on a much deeper level than 'oh this is a really good series, I really enjoyed it.' but on a more human level. On a level that connects all of us no matter who we are. It connects us all in a way we may not have known or in a way we may not like, but in a way, I believe, that is true and that is right...

Ugh, I keep trailing off! Sorry...

All in all, I guess that was my half-hearted attempt at saying "If you got nothing to read at the moment, I suggest you read this..." without demanding you to read it...

Thanks for bearing through my rambling if you did and if you ever decide to read the Awake in the Dark series (by Tim Mcbain and L.T. Vargus might I add) or if you already did you should totally let me know your thoughts about it :) because I'm totally obsessing right now, like I'm ready to restart the series!!!!!

Sorry, I started typing this expecting it to be short and sweet and then this happens... Either way, I'm done now :))))
