Where did it go?

It was always up in the skies, helping everyone to move foward.

It had always cared for us like its children, shaping us into the people we are, and shielding us from hate.

Always the one to give light to my world.

Now its gone, just ... gone, in an instant.

At the beginning, we were told it was just emptiness. Not darkness, just nothingness.

I can't even imagine what that would be like. "Its like a thought that is never uttered out loud, no one has ever heard of you before, and therefore, have never existed. It is only when someone speaks it out for everyone to know, then will it exist. If I never say I love you, then it will remain non-existant until you hear me tell you."

It would tell us that it created our world very similar to its own. What we had in our world was also in its world, from the dirt in the ground, to the tall trees in the forest, to the cluster of structures that most of us live in. This would also mean the bad things that happens here as well, from the poverty, to the  greed, to the killings.

"We were no more than mannequins, empty expression-less objects that simulated life-forms. I gave you a conscience, emotions, and each a life of your own."

There were others as well, everyone lingering here and living their lives as best as they could.

It dictated our free-will, but dictated our free-will with love and respect, not overstepping its boundary, giving everyone its love and kindness not favoring one over the other. And when needed, it would call upon us to "act out a play" for its people.  It said our two worlds were identical and shared many identical things. The only difference would be our unreal talents we're able to perform for it. These didn't exist in its reality.

It wished that we would be real one day, and help everyone through til the end of the road.

Everyone here would wonder how our reality will differ when it is no longer here. Would we die of starvation or boredom? Will we suffer for all eternity when thereis no more resources? Will another being rule over us as it once did? Maybe our world would diminish and cease to exist.

Now the moment of truth has come.

Limbo.

Time stood still. No more breezes in the air, nor heat nor coldness or any sound, not even the sound of silence. Everything stood still in its place. Trees blown by the wind stood motionless, falling leaves forever floating in the air, passing cars stopped in its track, and people stuck in a single motion frame like a photograph.

Perhaps this is reality now. Our maker is gone. Because it is the one who made our world, only it can dictate how our world can and will change overtime. No longer here, no longer commiting change, no longer moving time foward, everything stands still, until the day of its return. I will hold out for as long as I can until the day it returns to us, until time moves foward again. Maybe this is the end for me, the end for everyone in this world. If time again moves foward, and life continues,

I'll see you there.
