I’m under house arrestNo judge sentenced meNo lawyer represented meNo appeal process existsI committed no crimeYet-I am confinedThe accepted, social descriptionIs “Homebound”You see- my mindIsn’t serving this sentenceMy body isI will not bore you with the detailsIt would not help meI have the legal right to do what I wantBut my body is the Supreme CourtThat’s the final saySo I wake everyday(when Im able to sleep)I go through my survival routineLook for the elements that can stillexude qualityI am not asking for sympathy or pityI still have my mind, my brainand mouthI am asking tor understandingNot merely for me but others as wellSome of which display their giftand talent through this channelI have a future although limitedBut sometimes it is goodTo talk about it🦋
