One Bloody Tear Read Count : 193

Dawn rises upon clear Wyoming sky,
What they see, becomes horror before their eyes.
Beaten, Battered bloody trails fall down his face,
Save for one single tear that flowed down as he left life’s race.

Fueled by alcohol, fear and hatred two men took an innocent life.
There can be no resolve whence with mere actions taken is a life.
A young man verging on life, unsure of his own path.
Merely for whom he loved, hatred stole everything he had.

Tied to a rickety old farmers fence,
Bloody beaten battered,
Blood falling down his face…
Save for one lonely tear, trailing through the blood.

Alone in the middle of nowhere,
A young man died,
Through blood and battered eyes,
He closed them for the final time,

As one tear falls through the blood…
Of their hate filled crime.
