Pleadingly 
Pleadingly you scream 
I'm sorry!
I'm sorry!
I never meant to hurt you
Just please stop this nonsense 


Stop! 
This ain't nonsense 
You carried on with your actions 
Not even thinking about how they would effect others
So no matter how much I've already been 
Bruised and battered by your mistakes 
I want to know 
What in your mind made you think your actions 
Were justifiable 
That you could actually defend your actions 
Like you’re the victim here
I'd like to know because it ain't justifiable 
What you did is wrong 
And it hurt a lot of families 
It hurt a lot of people 


And you don't even care
You just went along like nothing ever happened 
Like I wasn't on the sidelines staring up at you
Like my sister didn't end up at the hospital
Like we weren't even born
Like we didn't exist
I don't know why your 
previous ”family” wasn't enough 
To satisfy your needs
Our bring you joy 
In being someone's husband and 
The father of two little girls 


I'm sorry but nothing you did is justifiable 
And in my eyes it never will be 
Maybe it's being your daughter that's blindsided me 
Maybe it's the staying up late crying while everyone’s asleep
Or the laying on bed staring at your photo for an hour 
Or sitting there while my sister cries yet again on her birthday 
Or the watching you leave your own children 
Or maybe it's having to explain to someone about who you are 


Maybe 
Just maybe 
All that has made me biased 


No matter what though 
All I can say 
Is that if you believe 
Your actions are justifiable 
That they are ok 


Well then you can kindly see your way out
