So many little words trickle down and spill from her fingertips, and they sprawl across the crumpled old paper.

On the back of a bill that will never get paid, she spills her tears in the form of a letter. A short goodbye she sprawls with her chewed up pencil.

She pauses briefly as she stares at the memories hung all over her white walls. She screams out in pain and she rips up her words into a million little pieces, a puzzling mess she won't ever clean up.

Alone in her world, surrounded by many, she questions her worth. She's been here before, she knows she'll pull through. In the meantime she paints on a smile like she polishes her toes, hiding under the dark crimson red.

Her soul is heavy and she needs to rest, but the world around her continues to spin, so she takes a deep breath and holds on just a little bit tighter. This ride will end soon, and she will be back to normal, a day in the dark is something she has grown used to.

So she takes that old bill and tosses the pieces into the trash, her words are now just letters in tiny little bits making no sense.

No one but her will know what they say, keeping all who love her safe from her pain, she stuffs it deep inside to conceal her sadness.

Another day, and she pulled through, until next time, she is still here with you...
