"Fame. Glamour. Bliss

 These are the only things that matter." the words of a Deviant. This is the tale of that Deviant, the one known as Alex King, but before any of the glamour, before it all, to truly understand their story, we must first understand where King came from: Shangri-La, Chicago. Do not allow the name to trick you, Shangri-La was, and is the most crime ridden town in America. After being the victim of a chemical attack, this small subset of the Chicago area was abandoned and the people there were left behind. But from the toxic purple haze that covered the area, the people of Shangri-La arose, building there own society and a new sovereign state; and on April 1st, 1999, Aalin and Alastor King gave birth there. Now due to medical care being highly limited in Shangri-La, the gender of their child was unknown. Alastor hoping for a boy and Aalin a girl, but what they got neither could of predicted. Their baby had been born a hermaphrodite; A person born with both Male and Female genitals. 
"Oh God. What have I done to deserve this, "thing"?" Screeches Alastor as Aalin cradles her child. 
"Hush, Al, look how beautiful she is." Aalin says with a tear in her eye lifting up her baby
"She?! "She", Aalin?! What kind of girl has a-" Alastor yells but is interrupted; before he can continue Aalin goes into contractions again. Unbeknownst to the Kings, they were having twins. And after another hour, they were gifted with another child, a son. As Aalin slipped into unconsciousness from the pain,  Alstor picked up his children, one with glee and the other with disdain. This was the birth of Alex and Gregory King: The beginning of the Age of Xtasy. But as Alex says: "There must be pain before bliss.".
