I knew what to expect

When you unbound expectations of normalcy.

Still, I couldn't escape this regret

When nightmares evolved into reality.

I could have said something, right?

Instead of letting so called “love” possess.

You and I used to visit each other every night

Oh, how togetherness took wickedness from our flesh.

Will I ever see you again?

Probably not and that hurts my soul to say.

What the hell happened to my friend-

A question that scares me to this day.

You were sailing, unphased and unbothered,

Never really noticing everything was coming down.

On your way to the hands of a doctor

But that's the visual to the lovely sounds.

I was a young man when the fire spread

And jovial lifestyles came full circle.

I promised you a friendship until we were dead.

I'm sorry, I never meant to hurt you.
