Fear Stemming From Christianity Read Count : 125

On this day, I have been looking through many ads only to see frightening news. News, that could very well foreshadow the end of our peaceful age. There are groups of people on both sides in the United States creating indecent ads. Mostly, the right wing extremists who will stop at nothing to keep a psychopath in power. What's worse is these anti-semetic groups and so called white nationalists hide under the guise of Christianity. Because of these bad apples or sour grapes, people have grown to fear and distrust Christians.

This is been an unfortunate consistency throughout history. It is because of people like the Klu Klux Klan, and the Nazis why people fear Christianity. Christianity is a religious belief, my religious belief and I can tell you these types of people who misquote scripture are not true Christians. These people who raid houses of other people's worship are not following the word of God. God commands us to respect each other as neighbors, family, and friends. One who does not act in the sake of peace is not a true believer. They are not a true Christian. A true Christian not only knows the word of God, but also will act on the words of God. They will ask for forgiveness. If you are truly sorry for the wrong you have done, he will forgive you. This does not mean you are free from punishment.

I like to think of Christianity as my blanket, it keeps me from going cold. Keeps me inspired to do good deeds and remember the other people who do good deeds for myself. It's not a happy perfect world we live in, but it's a good world. A world that we are always meant to protect. There is a great deal of bad news in the wirld, but there is also good news. People who do good deeds and show a gentle kindness. My boyish spirit believes that even if a story that has a bad beginning can have a good ending. That is up to us and the choices we make everyday. I may not say it in words, but I pray in my heart that we'll achieve that peace. There's no such thing as the perfect world, but that doesn't mean we should give up making it a better one.
