Pull up a chair, relax and get to know me.
It won't take long.
I'm not much different from you.
I mostly keep my word,
but I've also broken it a time or two.
I believe I've done little harm, but I know I could more often have done good.
And if I could change a part of my past,
well, I think I most probably would.
But I seek only what most have ever sought,
what is sought by most to come....
A faithful love,
A quiet mind,
A peaceful soul at last.
