I miss you at night while I lay in bed
As a song plays through my head
I miss you in my arms and me in yours
While I hear a guitar play it's sad cords
I hear it strum out a sweet song
About how time is so short and so long
I miss your breathe in my ear
And how you take away all my fears
I miss the way your heart would beat
And how it would pull me to sleep
I wish you could hear the melody
It plays a wonderful harmony
Listen to the song as it is strung
How it tells a tale so young
It sings of how I miss you
And how you have vanished like dew
