Somedays I lay sleeping while I'm fast awake,

And watch giant babies drink pink chocolate cake,

Other nights I stand sitting in my side rocking chair,

And listen to monkeys fly up into the air,

On cold days i bundle in my swim suit and flip flops,

But on hot ones I cool off in sweats and thick socks,

When snow falls i rake it all into trash cans,

While rain means sunglasses and big paper fans,

When summer arrives and its time to have fun,

I race while I'm sitting and sleep while I run,

When fun time is over and school starts again,

I buckle down with no homework and play house with a friend,

Here in my world things are right side up down,

And the place that I live is a big time small town,

I love that my home is so wackey and fun,

But hang on my friends the funs just begun,

The fish here can't swim but they sure do fly,

And when someone's sad you see rainbows up high,

The trees here are purple and the sky here is green,

And not one single person knows how to be mean,

The flowers always bloom and they stand ten feet tall,

The leaves here stay yellow and they never fall,

The boys and the girls always get along,

And even the weaklings are still super strong,

The dad's all cook dinner and the moms go play catch,

And kittens named rover play the best game of fetch,

I smell the best songs and feel the best tv shows,

I don't water my garden but it always grows,

Swimming pools are all filled with banana ice cream,

And visiting Mars is no longer a dream,

If you slide show the stairs in the back of my house,

At the very tip top you'll meet a cool mouse,

His name is Charlie and he holds a briefcase,

For just one piece of candy he'll walk you to space,

Things in my home are most certainly strange,

But it's my home yes my Home on the Range,

If ever you need to escape from tough times,

Just clap your heels twice and repeat these next rhymes,

I'm ready for silly and to have some fun,

Please take me to Funland many miles past the Sun,

So that I can hide from the bad in my land,

And watch orange waves crash into blue sand,

These few simple words bring a new time and place,

And they will put a big smile on your face,

So enjoy every minute you get to be here,

And when you leave you always hold it dear.
