As it is with those who have traveled 
the years and have reached the point 
where they can look back and reflect 
on the multitude  and variety 
of their experiences 

This then is the time to evaluate and take stock of the sum-total of who you were,who you are and the dynamics
that existed to mold you uniquely 
Into “you “

When one recognizes and accepts the fact that you’ve entered the twilight 
of your stay in this world
You can if you have the courage , 
determination and motivation to look into the mirror of your mind to see things,not as others might see them, not how you wound like to see them but as they really are.

The pain, the joy, the weakness, the strength, the laughter, the tears, the agony and the ecstasy of your
existence and  how that may have molded and influenced those who traveled with you on this road of life

It is easy to fool those who love and trust you
It is easy to put on a facade for those not close and present to them the person  they think you are or the one
They would like you to be 
But the reality is when you look in the mirror you know who you really are
You know”The Truth” 

Whether you can live with that realization or rationalize it defines who 
you are and  you (we)will be judged
 by a higher power 

 As I’ve traveled and still traveling in my “ twilight zone”
 face the reality of the words just written
Facing them not as some mercenary 
preacher but someone who has entered the”put up or shut up” portion of the journey where the words are 
Yet to be written
